I'm 47 and have loved cooking since I was a teenager. I came across Sam's book recently and would recommend it to anyone - not just students! The recipes and the end results are great!!!

I was just wondering about how you started your book up. How you got in touch wiht the publisher, what information did you have ready to show them, how much it cost's etc etc.

I'm a student at university, and I have your Student Cook Book (courtesy of my mum). I've recently became slightly addicted to houmous and would love to know another usage other than dipping poppy and sesame thins into it. Thanks.
