Thanx for the reply - just came onto your webbie & my message was right at the top - very convenient!!
Anyway so yeah i failed pretty miserable in the Pudding Party AGAIN but had a great time anyway. they're always in the early Autumn so the next one is next Oct. PLEASE give me some ideas!
Its held in the village hall, so nothing can be kept eiether hot ot cold for very long!

Hmm...what about a tart tartin as apples will be in season? Or a really good lemon meringue pie? There's one in the student cookbook where you crush up a few cardomon seeds and sprinkle those over the pastry when it's baked blind and before you put the lemon filling in. Or do a jelly with cider or white wine. Add a few blackberries. Serve it up in little jars or jam pots so it looks cool. Serve with a crisp homemade biscuit or brandy snap and a pot of flavoured cream/mascapone? You'll do it. Yep - new book out next week! Sam
